The capital of Israel is Jerusalem which was given to them by the United Nations in 1967 after they fought for it. The population of Israel is about 8 million people; In this article, you will learn how to plan a trip to Israel and what is the best time of year for you to visit.

Israel is a great tourist destination, which offers many attractions for tourists from around the world. In general, in my opinion, it’s better not to go during winter or summer because Israel is too hot or cold during these times. Spring and fall are the best seasons for going out in public places due to moderate weather conditions. However, if you want to go during these two months, I recommend visiting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, which have less extreme weather conditions than other parts of Israel.

 Best time of year to visit Israel :

The best time to visit Israel is from mid-October through mid-April. Never go in May or June, trust me! It’s too hot and humid here. The humidity goes down a bit from October to April, and it’s a little chilly in December/ January.

February, March, and April are known as spring months in Israel. During these months, days are warm (average of 20°); nights are cold (average of 8°). In February, you’ll see plenty of beautiful tulips around the country 🙂 With that said, an ideal time to visit Israel would be from November – March, when the average daily temps range from 25° to 10° Celsius.

The best month to visit Israel :

December is considered the best month to visit Israel because the days are mild (average of 23°) and the nights are sunny. It’s also not too cold nor too hot, making it an ideal time to travel here.

High tourist season:

The high season in Israel is from January to March and in August. June and July are low seasons (when most Israeli schools have their summer vacation). The weather this time of year can be very unpredictable, especially during the winter months, so I would advise caution when planning a trip to Israel at this time.

Which month has the best combination of sunny days, sea temperature; pleasant Temperatures?

Israel gets around 340 sunny days per year, making it one most optimistic countries globally, along with Florida’s Key West Island.

We also get all four seasons here, but Spring is probably my favorite – It’s not too hot nor cold! Now for the water, Water temp here ranges from 13°C to 24°C(55°F to 76°F), making it great for swimming and snorkeling. The water is almost always crystal clear blue!

Best time of day to visit Israel :

The best time to visit Israel would be during the morning hours or around sunset, when you can see beautiful colors throughout the landscape. From 10:00 am until about 4:00 pm, temperatures are typically in the 60s Fahrenheit (16-23 Celsius). So pack your favorite sweater and jeans!

 Low tourist season:

The low tourist season in Israel is from May to October when the weather can get hot and humid with temperatures that range from 25°C – 30°C (77°F – 86°F). Avoid traveling here during these months if you do not like the heat!

Best time for sightseeing :

Begin your day in Jerusalem by visiting the Old City, starting with a visit to the Western Wall. Then, check out Israel’s most important religious sites, including The Church of the Holy Sepulchre Temple Mount.

After a morning spent at these locations, head back to modern-day Jerusalem and tour around town. There are many remarkable things about this city, so be sure to see as much as you can – Visit the Tower of David Museum Israel Museum or take a walk through Mahne Yehuda Market.

If you’re looking to spend more time outside, head over to the Sultan’s Pool (Mamilla Pool), where you can enjoy views of The Old City. Before your welcome dinner, consider taking part in one of Jerusalem’s many nightlife activities.

Fall is a great time to visit Israel because the weather is still pleasant and warm during the day, but the nights begin to get chilly around this time. If you’re traveling here from November – February, I will pack a light sweater or jacket.

Winter is a great time to visit Israel because the nights become extremely cold, and the days are mild. I would recommend packing a jacket and possibly even a scarf or hat if you plan on traveling here in January – March.

 Visit Israel in the summer:

Summer is easily the most challenging time to visit Israel because of the extreme heat. If you can make it here for this short amount of time, be sure to bring plenty of sunscreens and take frequent breaks in cool places – like local cafes or malls.

Israel has a pretty hot Mediterranean climate, which means the summers are long and hot. January acts as their ‘coldest’ month, where temperatures can drop down to 13°C on average.
