Step back in time while visiting this historical landmark that was built in 1796! The light is no longer functional, but the main lighthouse building is open for visits by the public. Hours are Sunday–Friday from 10 am-6 pm, Saturday & Holidays from 12 pm-6 pm (June through Labor Day), 12 noon – 4 pm on weekends during the offseason *$8 per adult over 13 years old, $3 per child 6 to 12 years old with paid adult, free under 6-year-olds.

Located right next to our hotel site in Montauk, the boardwalk is a great place to take your family members or friends during their visit! You can rent bikes if you want and/or walk the long beach area with them instead 🙂 Hours are Seasonal, 11 am-11 pm (weather dependent). Cost – Free to stroll along the boardwalk, but there is an admission fee charged when visiting local attractions/beaches.*Must purchase tickets online before visiting.

28. Get Lost Walking Around Shinnecock Hills Golf Course:

Watch the sunrise from atop this historic landmark located at the tip of Long Island! Hours are 10 am-4 pm (weather dependent). Admission is $10 per adult, free for children under 12 years old. Reservations are suggested. *Must pay and sign a waiver before renting.
